
Salmon Chazuke
This is a light Japanese chazuke made with seasonal salmon. It's perfect for a quick meal on busy days, allowing you to enjoy the savory flavor of grilled salmon and the umami of the dashi broth.

Instructions
Remove the skin from the salmon and grill or pan-fry over medium heat until cooked through, then flake it.
💡 Tip: Be careful as it can burn easily; cook it slowly over medium heat.

In a pot, combine the dashi broth and white dashi, and warm gently. Be careful not to let it boil.
💡 Tip: Stop the heat just before boiling to retain the umami of the dashi.

Place warm rice in a bowl and top it with the flaked salmon and chopped nori.

Pour the warmed dashi broth over it, and garnish with chopped green onions and pickled plum or wasabi if desired.
