Instructions
Cook the washed dal in a pressure cooker with water, turmeric, salt, and tomato until 3-4 whistles.
💡 Tip: The dal should be well-cooked for better flavor.

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and asafoetida. When the cumin starts to crackle, add garlic, ginger, and green chili, and sauté until golden.
